Training, Supervision & Leadership

Structured Practicum Opportunities

We place trainee counsellors (Students in their Master’s program) in underserved schools where they gain supervised field experience through counselling, consultations, workshops, and school-based mental health initiatives.

Supervision and Mentorship

Fellows receive regular supervision, mentoring, and reflective learning opportunities from experienced mental health professionals and educators.

Training and Capacity Building

Students participate in workshops, masterclasses, and training sessions on child development, counselling practice, ethics, trauma-informed care, safeguarding, and systems thinking.

Monitoring and Accountability

We support the documentation, monitoring, and tracking of practicum hours, field engagement, and professional development throughout the fellowship journey.

Exposure to Mental Health Equity

Fellows develop a deeper understanding of the systemic barriers affecting children’s access to mental health support and learn to work across schools, families, and communities.

Professional Development and Career Pathways

The fellowship provides opportunities for networking, mentorship, leadership development, and future pathways within the mental health sector.
